Pink

Blazer - H&M / Top - H&M / Jeans - American Apparel / Shoes - Office (via ebay)

Apart from lipstick and a pair of shoes, pink is not a colour that I wear often. Being a pale one, I believe that the colour highlights my so-pale-it's-translucent skin. However, the colour material and cut of this blazer had me. I love the pastel trend and was glad that when I slipped this blazer, I got the mum seal of approval. And the material is to die for! It is so soft! As I am currently in the mist of looking for jobs now I have graduated, I thought this number would be perfect to finish off an interview outfit.

The blazer was £24.99 ( I couldn't find it online to give you a link) but with my £5 voucher that I got in exchange for a bag of my old clothes it was only £20! Score.

JELLIES

Top - H&M / Kimono - H&M / Jeans - H&M / Jellies - Truffle (Northampton) /
Scrunchie - American Apparrel

I have wanted a pair of jelly shoes since their resurgence last summer. For some reason it has taken till now to take the plunge. And it feels so good!! I'm all nineties again, reminiscing about my childhood times. After my last new shoe purchase (see here) I was worried about the comfort factor. But, no need to fret, they are like little clouds of shoe comfort heaven. However, there is a cherry to put on the top of this icing, as they were a mere £10. Bargs or what!!

I went for the classic flat blacks, but after me and Beth saw the glittery pink ones in River Island, I'm thinking I'm going to have to invest another pair.

WATERFALL

Jacket - H&M via eBay / Rest of outfit - all H&M

Okay, so as I started to write where each piece of my outfit is from above, I realised my ENTIRE outfit was H&M?! In past posts I have outlined my clear love of the store, I even purchased H&M items when I went to New York (however it was blimmin cheap, the new collection was out and 15% student discount. I mean how could I resist?! -- oh yeah check out my New York haul here).

This post seems to have shocked me in to really seeing my true obsession with the brand. I clearly need help.

In The Name Of Fashion

Shoes - Next / Blazer - H&M / Top - Primark / Jeans - H&M / Bag - H&M /
Sunglasses - Three Monkeys New York

So quite a few posts ago I featured these beauts little red pumps I brought from Next with a voucher the Grandparents gave me. Since then they have been waiting patiently in my wardrobe for the sun to come out enough that my feet can cope with out socks. I slipped them on with hearts in my eyes. A few hours later the hearts turned to tears as blisters overtook my poor little tootsies and ankles.

EVERY TIME I buy new shoes I have to battle through the pain until my feet get accustomed!! All day I just kept on repeating to myself, "but they're so pretty".

All in the name of fashion huh?

Ready For Take Off

Jumper - H&M / Vest - H&M / Leggings - H&M / Boots - Office

So two weeks ago I headed to New York for 5 days. This was my 21st Birthday present from my Mother and Father, who have helped me tick a couple of things off my bucket list and made a dream come true. Oh gosh I do sound overly corny.

I had an AMAZING time!!! I will be uploading my first ever haul video to show you all the things I brought. I'm a little shakey but it's my first video. Anyways back to this post. I brought this cream roll neck jumper from good old trusty H&M (of course) to wear on the flight. It was so soft and cosy. I always get cold on flights so this was perfect. This is basically the outfit I wore on the plane, although I wore my brogues instead of the boots and had my leather jacket to throw over the top.

Before we jet setted off, Mumma and I got our hair cut. Although you may not be able to tell, I got little bit of a fringe cut in as I wanted some form of change. I really like it although I'm constantly sweeping my blinkin' hair out my eyes. I may even be a dare devil next time and get my hair cut a little shorter. Oh my.

That Bomber Again

Jacket - Monsoon / Dress - H&M / Necklace - H&M / Boots - Office / Sunglasses - Topshop

These photos were actually taken around two weeks ago (if not longer), but there is no time like the present. Now the sun is starting to do it's thing again, I can start to wear this jacket a lot more. As I love wearing all black everything, this jacket is great for adding a subtle bit of colour.

Sheer Black

Kimono - H&M / Top - Primark / Jeans - H&M / Boots - H&M / Necklace - H&M

So after two months of waiting for this friggin kaftan to arrive, I finally received it! H&M is one of my favourite shops, but god damn is there online shipping service is crap. But as you may know, even just from this post it has not stopped me from shopping there. This kimono was £5.99. Yes, £5.99. Gosh I love a bargain.

Anyway I can't wait to style this, and if I some how go on holiday I reckon it will be perfect as a cover up over a bikini. Bring on the summer!

The Bomber Jacket

Click layouts to enlarge

Jacket - Monsoon / Lace Top - Never Fully Dressed / Leggings - H&M / Boots - H&M

I actually got this beauts jacket for my birthday off the rents when they came down to Worthing to surprise me. But the weather has been way too awfully cold to show it off! But with the sun shining bright like a diamond today, I thought I'd shwep the bad boy out for its debut.

I saw this in the Milton Keynes Monsoon, I think in the October half term when me, the rents and Rich went to start some christmas shopping. I was looking for a present for my mother, but couldn't help try this on. Unable to afford it, I stepped away in sadness. Little did I know my shneaky Father would get a tip off from Richard and go get it for me!! Spoilt rotten!!!

How amaze is the colour and pattern though. Being a tad of a hippy, I love a bit of an ethnic print. This mixed with the bomber jacket design is a culture clash made in heaven. Bring on the warmer days so I can wear this everyday!

New Coat

Coat - H&M / Jumper - H&M / Leggings - H&M / Boots - H&M / Necklace - Topshop /
Sunglasses - Topshop

Finally got the delivery! I wear black . . . well let's just say a lot. Yet, I realised I didn't own a black coat. What a perfect opportunity to spend some money in the H&M sale. As you can see, just by this outfit, H&M is one of my all time favourite shops along with the likes of Zara. I know it is not the most amazing coat, but I think the subtle detailing and shape will make it an easy piece to throw over the top of most outfits. I would say it is more of a jacket material in terms of warmth, but when the sun was shining like today, it was perfect.

It was nice to be back with my own personal photographer, Beth, and the sun was actually shining, and the wind wasn't blowing us away. Please bring more days like this!

Bandana Print

Top worn as dress - Primark / White top - Primark / Boots - Office / Headpiece - Miss Selfridge /
Lipstick - Soap&Glory Red My LipsNail varnish - Rimmel 193 Black Cherries

Nipped into town last weekend with the rents and the boyf to do some errands. Mum and Rich needed to head to Primark for some basics, so I followed. I am not the biggest Primark fan full stop. I hate the crowds and the clothes being so unorganised. The one in Northampton is probably the worst. However, somehow this top caught my eye. I love the bandana print, and navy blue is a good colour for my pale complexion. I got this top in a size 16 so I could wear it as a dress rather than top. For £6 I could not resist!

Due to the weather being bloomin freezing, I added this white top underneath that my housemate Beth gave me. I was going to add a matching bandana that I already own, and tie it up in my hair, but thought I may be taking the Brooklyn gangster chic a step too far. (I see a theme arising from my last post) Instead I added this awesome headpiece my immature chum brought me for part of my 21st birthday present (I also received a Snoop Dogg vinyl, of course). I have barely worn it, but absolutely love it. To match the purple in the bead on the headpiece, I opted for a dark lipstick and matching dark purple nails, although I think my white mails from the other day would have worked really well with this look.

Photos of course were taken by me, hence the lack in quality!

Rap White

Top - Brighton Lanes / Skirt - Zara / Boots - Office / Necklace - Topshop / Midi-Rings - Next

I'm going to meet my friend to day for lunch and shopping in town, as I'm back home for the half term. I thought I was really good with limiting how much of my wardrobe I brought back with me, as usually I bring the whole thing. However, I feel now I haven't brought enough (or maybe I'm just bored of the stuff I've brought). God knows what this outfit is, but oh well. The top I actually brought for my brother, who quickly got bored. So being the cheapy that I am, I put it back in my own wardrobe, usually wearing it with my joggers to chill out. But being bored and mad, I decided to put it with my lovely smart Zara skirt. And then ofcourse I added a chunky gold chain to really enhance my inner gangsta! ((Excuse the mardy face, trying to capture outfits on your lonesome is hard! I need my Bethy!))

Last night, after concentrating on Uni work all day I decided to kick back and paint my nails. I have seen SO many people with white nails and always thought it looked so good, so I thought I'd give it ago. I think if I wasn't so pale it would look ALOT better. But anywho I'm just loving life. The midi-rings were part of my voucher purchases from next from a few posts ago (see here). I attempted to wear them all at once the other day in sheer fashion excitement, but I believe it looks a lot better when toned down, with just one or two.

Check It

Top - Pull & Bear / Jeans - H&M / Boots - H&M

Finally! The sun came out and we actually got to do a blog post! The wind was atrocious, however, Beth and I managed to actually get some decent shots of one another. I love love love this top, which I brought on Saturday (see the post here) from Pull & Bear. It was £12.99 in the sale down from £25.99. The browny orange and blue colours suit my skin tone, which is great, as I usually end up wearing black a lot due to my pale complexion. The material and shape give it that easy to wear, laid back look which goes perfect with jeans. Bring on the good weather and more blog posts is what I say!

Sixties Gal

Gillet - H&M / Dress - Vera Moda / Top - Urban Outfitters / Bag - Zara / Brogues - Kurt Geiger

So the stress of third year uni is killing me. Everyone's body deals with stress in different ways and mine decides to produce a never ending series of spots, severely itchy dry eyes and eczema. Therefore the last week has meant I felt exactly how I looked. However, I woke up this morning determined to try and feel better about life, and after moisturising my face this morning five trillion times, I put make-up on for the first time in a week.

My outfit today was a quick decision, and ended up looking for sixties, with my gillet and shift dress. I think an underlying influence from my dissertation on David Bailey is effecting my life in more ways than one.

Back to the Hard Grafting

Dress - H&M / Boots - Office / Necklace - Topshop / Earrings - H Samuels /
Ring - (shop in Northampton)

First day back at Uni after my lovely time at home during the Christmas break. I'm a home baby, so had a little cry not wanting to return to the dreaded likes of Worthing. It's not the living away from home that gets me, it's the stress of uni life and work. We have a ridiculous amount of deadlines all put one after the other within the space of less than a month. Thanks Northbrook once again.
Right, moan over. Lets move onto more positive talk. For Christmas and my birthday I got some beauts new pieces that I am still behind on blogging about. My brother got me this ring for my birthday and these silver hoops for xmas, bless his cottons! I have decided I want both my hands covered in rings, so this new addition was perfect. I loved how it was in keeping with my other two, plain silver with a texture to it. As for the hoop earrings, I literally have one pair of nice silver studs and all the others can't be worn for more than a day before making your ears green, so I was despo in need of some new variations.
Originally, I asked my auntie for that amaze green crocodile clutch bag I blogged about in my recent wishlist. But of course, two days after my auntie ordered it, she receives an email telling her it was out of stock!! I was so annoyed but had to get on the hunt for a new pressie. With nothing really popping out to me within the price range, I half heartedly picked out this black jumper dress from H&M. I have to admit I thought it was just a jumper, but I loved the fact that it was long enough to wear as a dress. It's a great casual piece that you can just throw on with ease and not too much worry.

Yetti

Gillet - H&M / Leather Jacket - Zara / Beaded Top - Topshop / Necklace - a birthday present / Leggings - H&M / Boots - H&M

I have been wanting this furry gillet since I first laid eyes on it, which seems so long ago. I was strong and prohibited myself from buying it, but it kept on playing on my mind for so long. When I finally thought fuck the popo and went to purchase the beaut it was gone! Devastated I tried to get over the heartache.  Christmas day came. I hadn't wanted anything in particular and didn't know what to expect. A few presents in, I tore back the paper and saw the glimpse of shaggy black fur. I was singing and dancing all day. Mother and Father I salute you.

Twenty-One

Top - H&M / Skirt - H&M / Boots - H&M / Necklace - H&M / Socks - Primark / Bag - Topshop

Due to a my first full project hand in for my last year of University today, and my 21st birthday on Thursday, things have been pretty mental this week. This is the outfit I wore on Thursday to my day out in London with the boyfriend. I have needed an opportunity to wear this skirt and what better one than my 21st! We met at Euston and headed to my Nan's for Prosecco and lunch in Islington. We then checked out the new Burberry store on Regents Street, which we were talking about in my marketing lesson the other day. If only I could actually afford something from there!! This was followed by drinks and food in Leicester Square as we watched the crowds forming for the Nelson Mandela film premiere. Richard's Dad and Stepmum had then brought us tickets to see Billy Elliott at the theatre, so overall it was an amazing day. Due to my deadline me and my parents had decided to postpone the real celebrations till the week after, once I had gone back home for Christmas. However Friday night I walk into a restaurant with Rich unaware that my parents were the two loons sitting with half their faces hidden by the menus! Best suprise ever! Can't believe they had travelled all the way down to celebrate with me! Champagne and an amazing Nepalese meal - even better birthday!

I feel so unbelievably lucky for everything! I'm not only going to New York, I got a new camera lens and loads more amazing stuff that will be up on here very soon. After being up till late last night to finish everything for my hand in today, I feel the rest of the day will be filled with eating, blogging and online shopping.
